LOST

Hey! how is it going?
well, i’ve decided to make my blog a little bit different so here it is a new tòpic: TV series!

Lost is about some people that are flying from Sidney to USA and they have and accident and fall into an island. This island is not very normal, you will see.
Since I watched the first episode I can’t stop watching them! There are two hot boys: Sawyer and Jack. Things that happen in the island are so amazing and inesparate! Don’t think two times and watch Lost!

Amélie

One person can change your life forever.

Amélie is a peculiar girl who finds a box in her house that is full of significative things for someone. He wants to find this person to make him happy. When she does, she thinks that this makes she feels alright so she starts helping people. He falls in love with a extrange boy. Their raletion will be full of magic and mistery.

This is one of the films that you have to see before dying. It’s so good and there are funny scenes, for example, the story of the midget that travels arround the worl. The scenary is so colourfull and brilliant and the music is great! And it was nominated for 5 Oscars!

BARÇA!!!

GOOD LUCK to my favourite team. Today it’s playing against Manchester. It’s taking place the CHAMPIONS!!

Silk

Love knows no borders

Directed by François Girard. With Sei Ashina, Keira Knigthley, Michael Pitt.. (2007)

The film is dated in 19th century, in France. The son of a militar falls in love with a sweet town girl. They get married. One day the main character is asked for going to Japan for buying some silkworm eggs, becouse the silkworms in nearly all the world have an illnes. He acepts and goes to Japan, and it takes many time but he wins lots of money. There he will meet a girl who will make him crazy…

This is a nice love story. Keira is great in he film. The scenegraphy is so good; we can see a lot of beautifull places of Japan and the litle town of France. You will enjoy this film.

Into the blue

Temptation is bliss

Directed by John Stockwell, with Jessica Alba, Paul Walker, Scott Can and Ashley Scott (2005)

Four friends are in Las Bahamas having a great time, snorkeling, when they find a sunken plane full of cocaine. They also find a part of a sunken famous old boat. They want to take out the boat so they can become rich, but for doing this, they need a lot of money. Three of the four friends think about selling the drugs but one girl isn’t interested in that, so the Sam, forgets about the boat. Then they are three who will have many troubles with drugdillers.

This is a great film to see when you have nothing to do in a summer evening. I like films that happen in the sea becouse they are always fresh and cool. And Paul walker is amazing in it. I hope you like it.

Along came Polly

For the most cautious man on Earth, life is about to get interesting

Directed by John Hamburg. With Jennifer Aniston and Ben Stiller (2004)

This film starts with Reuben’s wedding. He and her wife are on the honeymoon when Reuben finds her in the bed with the snorkeling instructor. He goes back to the city. There he will meet Polly Prince, such a nice, happy and different girl that had gone with him to school. They will start a relationship, but… will they be compatible?

This is a funny story. You will laught a lot with Ben Stiller, he rocks. In the film appears Philip Seimour Hoffman acting as Reuben’s friend. He makes me laught a lot. Enjoy it.

From dusk till Dawn

A terrifying evil has been unleashed. And five strangers are our only hope to stop it.

The film starts with a family who is traveling. The mother has just die and the father is a churchman. He has one daughter and one son. They are traveling when suddenly they are kidnapped by two fugitive brothers. They stop in a bar where happens something inesperate.

This film is amazing. If you want to see, don’t tell anybody or watch any trailer, becouse something happens that you can’t imagine. If someone tells you what happens it losts all the exitement. That’s why I won’t post the trailer, for making you enjoy the film. I hope you enjoy one of the first films of Salma Hayek, Quentin Tarantino and George Cloney.

La vita è bella

An unforgettable fable that proves love, family and imagination conquer all.

Directed by Roberto Benigni. With Roberto Benigni, Nicoletta Braschi, Giorgio Cantarini, Giustino Durano and Marisa Paredes.

Some years before the Second World War, Guido, a happy and positive man, arrives to La Toscana. There, he opens a library and meets a girl, Dora, who is going to get married with a fascist man. Finally, Dora and Guido get married and have a lovely son. When the war arrives, they are taken to a concentration camp. There, Guido tries to make his son doesn’t see the truth about were they are.

It’s a really nice film, wich makes you see that you have to find the happines in your worst moments. It makes you realize that your life could be worst and we don’t have to be as negative as we are.

Juno

A comedy about growing up… and the bumps along the way

Directed by Jason Reitman. With Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner… (2007)

This is the story about a girl called Juno. She isn’t the tipic seventeenth girl. She is very sincere and real. She has a kind of friend, . She gets embarassed. Firstly she wants to abort but she changes her mind so she decides to have the baby and give it to a family.

This film is so cute. It’s not very comercial but really good. It makes you think about the kind of people in the world. It is so sincere. The alternative music is so good. You will enjoy this film.

Almost Famous

Experience it. Enjoy it. Just don’t fall for it.

Directed by Cameron Crowe. With Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup, Kate Hudson…(2000)

This film is dated in the 70s. William, is a young boy whose mum is very strict and demanding. When her sister is eighteen she leaves home and gives him all her Vynil collection That’s when William starts loving music. He wants to be periodist and he meets a music band. He goes with them on a tour for entrevist them for the Rolling Stones magazine. During the tour, he meets a groupie named as Lenny Pane and he falls in love with her.

I love this film and I’ve seen it many times. I like those years of groupies, rock, crazy style and freedom. It’s a great film for having a good time with popcorns and Coca Cola! Enjoy it 🙂
